2012 BLUEGRASS FIRST CLASS WORKSHOPS
Instrument Instructional Workshops
Beginning and intermediate workshops in banjo, mandolin, fiddle and guitar will be offered this year at Bluegrass First Class on Saturday, February 18th, 2012. Leading the workshops will be Wayne Erbsen, who has been teaching bluegrass music classes for fifty years and has written thirty bluegrass music instruction books.Wayne’s specialty is making learning to play a bluegrass instrument easy and fun.
Location: Dogwood Room
9:30-10:45 AM – Banjo for novices and semi-beginners. $35.
11:00 AM-12:15 PM – Mandolin for novices and semi-beginners. $35.
1:30 PM – 2:45 PM – Guitar for intermediate guitar players. $35.
3:00 PM-4:15 PM Fiddle for novices and semi-beginners. $35.
Class size will be limited, so register when you check in. Students should bring their own instruments. A recording device is optional but recommended.
