The lineup of performers for 2010 Bluegrass First Class is unbeatable. Friday’s show will feature Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, The Grascals, Next Best Thing, Snyder Family Band and more.
On Saturday you will hear the sounds of Dailey & Vincent, Steep Canyon Rangers, the almost Tony Rice Unit brought to life the way it used to be with lead vocals by Josh Williams. Other members of the Tony Rice Unit will be the original members: Jimmy Gaudreau (mandolin/tenor vocals), Rickie Simpkins (fiddle/baratone vocals) and Wyatt Rice (guitar). Accompanied by and Brinn Bright (bass/vocals).

The Crowne Plaza Resort is the first and only one of its kind in North Carolina and will be dedicated to bluegrass for the entire weekend. All of the hotel’s rooms will be occupied by bluegrass fans, and all of the facility’s meeting rooms will be set aside for picking and jamming. There is a “quiet wing” block on one floor consisting of a few sleeping rooms which the hotel has set aside for those who wish to rest and relax in a no-jamming zone.
