How many of you have ever heard Dailey & Vincent play on two consecutive days?  They are winners of 3 in-a-row International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Entertainers of the Year Award along with many other awards at IBMA’s annual conference and Awards Show in Nashville, TN.  Now let’s add the beautiful harmonies of IBMA’s 7-time Female Vocalist of the Year, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage along with the current IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.  Rounding out this event will be the bluegrass trendsetters, The Seldom Scene, Lonesome River Band, The James King Band, and Junior Sisk & Rambler’s Choice featuring the ever popular Wyatt Rice on guitar.

Simply put, “just top notch performers for two days”. 

We are extending a personal invitation for you to be with us during THE THIRD WEEKEND, February 17, 18, & 19, 2012. 

We have a full contingent of local and regional acts showcasing their talents in the Sunken Lobby of the Resort.  There will be jamming in the halls, stairwells, alcoves, meeting rooms, and just about everywhere else.  We will take over the entire Resort with Bluegrass Music in February, 2012.  And, oh yes, we will have some  rooms in a no-jamming area where some can rest without hearing music (can you imagine?)

ON SITE PARKING: Alright!  A new parking area has been built at the hotel so ALL attendees can park at the hotel itself!  There are already more than enough parking spaces for everyone (What else are golf courses good for in the Wintertime?)  The 18^th hole adjacent to the hotel has been turned into a permanent bluegrass parking area at the Crowne Plaza Resort and additional  parking has been added near the tennis courts.

The 2012 Power Packed line up includes: 

Friday:  Dailey & Vincent (2 BIG days), Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, & The James King Band.

Saturday: Dailey & Vincent (again!), The Seldom Scene, Lonesome River Band, & Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice featuring the phenomenal Wyatt Rice on guitar.

Tom McKinney will do his popular banjo set-up workshop in the Swannanoa Room of the Crowne Plaza Resort on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:00PM.  Also on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, Wayne Erbsen will provide lessons for beginners and intermediates on banjo, guitar, mandolin and fiddle.
