Like many of you have heard the North Carolina State Bluegrass Festival was which was scheduled to be held in Cherokee, North Carolina was cancelled by its former producers. I was recently contacted by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians & approached about producing a festival in an effort to continue the festival in Cherokee, North Carolina. The prior festival has moved to another facility & date. I was contacted by the Cherokee Tribe & accepted an arrangement to continue on the tradition after I spoke w/the prior producers & was told for certain that the festival had been moved & canceled @ the Cherokee facility & had been moved to another date & another facility. On behalf of my staff, myself & Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, we are honored to invite you to continue this tradition w/us this year, june 17-20, 2010 & for many years to come. We are looking forward to offering you a bit of a “facelift”, some great bands, lots of old friends, jamming, plenty of memories & a surprise or two!
